Hi, I'm Valeria, a Polish-based freelance journalist raised in Belarus and Israel. Born into a family of journalists, I realized journalism is in my DNA. I like to dig deep into the essence and ask questions.
During my studies, I experimented with different writing styles and tried my hand at various fields, such as IT, pop culture, fashion, news, and current events. I wrote for university newspapers (Minsk State Linguistic University and Charles University in Prague), Belarusian fashion portal SALON375, Polish English-language IT media ITKeyMedia, and various small online portals. It was a time when I was finding my feet and actively searching for myself.
Later, I started to position myself as a freelance journalist on social media, covering social and political issues in Poland. After taking a course in journalism at Press Club Belarus, I decided to go further with blogging on social media and created this website to publish my work.
I aim to do more meaningful work and go beyond covering one country. I strive for objectivity and encourage my readers to think through my work.
